Annie King

Anne M. King (Annie) is a professional Counselor/Clinical Resident and Licensed Social Worker with the State of Ohio, concentrating in adolescent, individual and couples counseling.  Annie has experience working with individuals suffering from depression and anxiety. She has had extensive training and experience in early childhood development, parenting issues, teen pregnancy and the struggles of adolescence.  Annie understands the challenges facing today’s woman and recognizes the need to connect with a nonjudgmental, unbiased professional. She provides a warm and caring, therapeutic environment where clients can move forward toward wholeness.

Annie has over 20 years experience as a pastor’s wife.  She understands the struggles and the joys of ministry.  She is sensitive to the needs of pastors and their families.

Annie earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Morehead State University.  Her Social Work degree has given her the opportunity to work with many diverse populations.  After taking some time off to raise her four children Annie responded to God’s call to counsel hurting people.  She received her Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2007.

Annie is a member of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies, the Ohio Counseling Association, and the Ross County Mental Health Association.  She enjoys learning and improving her skills.

She is available to speak on a variety of topics including; Contentment, Patience, Fear and Anxiety, Budgeting, Parenting, and Marriage.

As well, Annie is married to Pastor Kurt King and together they have 4 children ranging from elementary to college. She is active in her local church and enjoys cooking, reading, bike riding, and walking with her husband.
